Q Can you describe your role at SmartEquip?
A My primary role is to create and manage support and help documentation for SmartEquip clients, users, and internal processes. I also lead the translation efforts for our client sites.
Q How long have you been at SmartEquip?
A I joined SmartEquip in the spring of 2016. I felt instantly welcomed and appreciated. The workplace culture and breadth of opportunities keep the days (and years) exciting!
Q What is the most rewarding project you’ve worked on at SmartEquip?
A Any project for which I can bridge gaps through documentation, to help our clients, users, and fellow Smart-E’s, is rewarding for me!
Q What is your best workplace memory?
A I had only been working at SmartEquip for a few months and was still learning about the company. I was asked to help lead a new project in unfamiliar waters. Upon completion I remember Fern, our CEO, walking toward me as he called out my name. Still new to the company, I wasn’t sure what to expect. He raised his hand and gave me a big high-five. It was a fun and spontaneous gesture that really demonstrated the workplace culture here at SmartEquip.
Q What are your plans for the holiday and what’s your favorite holiday tradition?
A Enjoying the time with my children and family. We are planning to keep things simple this year, but it will not be short of special moments! It is yearly tradition that the day after Thanksgiving all my music stations are turned to channels playing only Christmas music!
Q What is the most unique item on or near your WFH set up?
A Most unique would have to be all the drawings made by my 5-year-old daughter!
