Q: How long have you been at SmartEquip? Describe your Smart-E journey.

A: I have been with SmartEquip 8 ½ years. I started as a Project Manager and then worked my way to Sr. PM and most recently was promoted to Director of Project Management. In this role, I not only focus on projects, but am constantly working on processes improvement and efficiencies for various workflows within the project management cycles for our department. I have an amazing team who is dedicated to their profession and are a great addition to the SmartEquip team.
Q: What is the most rewarding project you’ve worked on at SmartEquip?

A: When you look at SmartEquip’s network, we work with some of the best companies in the industry. I have been fortunate enough to work with 100’s of our suppliers and have found all projects rewarding because every company and every project is unique. And equally as rewarding as the projects are the relationships that I have been able to build with both our fleets and suppliers.
Q: What is the most unique item on or near your WFH or new office desk set up?

A:I have a stained-glass piece of art that my late grandfather made. It is in my den next to an acrylic painting my late mother made when she was a teenager. Those are pretty special and unique items that help remind me that there are always multiple ways to view life.
Q: Do you have any exciting Summer plans?

A: We have a new rescue dog, Emma. She is part Beagle and Bassett Hound. She is about 6 years old and pretty lazy, so my plan for this summer is to leash train her so I can take her on walks and let her experience the beautiful beaches and trails we have here in Connecticut.
Q: What are you reading or listening to (book, podcast, music) right now?

A: I’ve always loved live music and going to concerts during the summer. Since the pandemic has put a lot of shows on hold, I’ve been digging deep into my vinyl record collection and currently enjoying the Connecticut Summer by listening to live recordings of The Grateful Dead as well as classic rock, new wave and jazz. However, I enjoy so many different genres that if you ask me again in the Fall, my answer will probably be different.
Q: What is your favorite motivational quote?
