Q: Can you describe your role at SmartEquip?
A: My role is Manager of Customer Support. I oversee the day-to-day operation of the support team who is first line support for production-related issues. My role also involves working closely with project management, quality assurance, and the engineering team on issues that evolve into projects.
Q: Can you describe your SmartEquip journey?
A: I've been with SmartEquip for close to 11 years and the journey has been nothing less than exciting. Watching SmartEquip evolve, grow, and adapt is a testament of SmartEquip's resilience to an ever-changing industry. Particularly, when Covid hit and everyone was suddenly isolated, we worked together to ensure we continued providing customer satisfaction.
Q: What is the most rewarding project you’ve worked on at SmartEquip?
A: The current project we're working on with Rouse to improve the equipment aliasing tool. By leveraging the additional resources and the great team at Rouse, we're closer to almost entirely automating the equipment search feature.
Q: What are you reading or listening to (book, podcast, music) right now?
A: I'm a huge fan of detective novels. I've started reading The Waiting by Michael Connelly, the 39th book in the Detective Harry Bosch universe.
Q: What is your favorite motivational quote?
A: Learn from the past to fix the present like you're changing the future.
Q: What is your favorite vacation destination?
A: It has to be Puerto Rico. The white sandy beaches, diverse rainforest, delicious food, music, and culture.
