Q: Can you describe your role at SmartEquip?

A: My role at SmartEquip in summary is to manage the supplier onboarding team and ensure that both Supplier and Equipment Owner requested customer relationships are being made within the SmartEquip application(s) in order for customers to transact over the SmartEquip Network. We like to say we are the heart or lungs of SmartEquip, without us customers couldn’t transact together.
Q: How long have you been at SmartEquip? Describe your Smart-E journey.

A: I started on a leap year, February 29, 2016. Depending on how you look at it I have either worked at SmartEquip for 1 year or 6. I started in Customer Support/ Supplier Onboarding, moved to Project Management, and am now Manager of the Supplier Onboarding Team. I’ve watched the company over the last 6 years grow very quickly.
Q: What is the most rewarding project you’ve worked on at SmartEquip?

A: I cannot think of a single most rewarding project, they are all very rewarding and there has not been a single project that I have not learned something new about the industry we are in or the clients that we service.
Q: What are you most excited for when returning back into the office?

A: SmartEquip is like a family, I am excited to see familiar faces that I have not seen in a while.
Q: What is most unique about your work from home set up?

A: 5 of my 7 dogs sleep near or under my work from home desk. It’s a unique feeling to be able to take them to work with me each day. I call them the great stress relievers instead of Golden Retrievers.
Q: What are you reading or listening to (book, podcast, music) right now?

A: I’ve been reading a lot about crypto currency, specifically Litecoin and Bitcoin as well as Blockchain as a whole and how that is starting to enter different industries.
Q: What is your favorite vacation destination?

A: Maine during the summer in a cabin in the woods, disconnection from technology eating lobster.
